This month we’ll have a presentation from Paul Grotevant of ITS Campus Solutions, who is eager to share the good news that UT Drupal Kit 3 is out of beta and ready for production.

Let’s try something a bit different this Wednesday: a simple half-hour Zoom social hangout/catch-up session starting at 11:30, and then if you’re still looking for some UT web-related knowledge to keep you company during your lunch break, I strongly suggest watching the recording of last week’s FYI session presented by Paul Grotevant of ITS Web and Consulting Services.

This month, we’ll be hearing from Leroy Rosales of the Office of the VP for Diversity and Community Engagement, with Charles Leverington of University Communications chiming in, on their recent successes using the Twig templating system.

This month Charles Leverington of University Communications will be sharing a talk about using the popular file versioning software Git and UT GitHub Enterprise.

Join Jason, Jaime and Paul as they discuss the ongoing federal investigation on UT Austin’s web accessibility. They will talk about the history leading up to the investigation, the investigation itself, and share lessons learned to ensure webpages are compliant with federal regulation. They’ll also be seeking your input on ways to continually improve this crucial aspect of UT’s web publishing operations.

You don't have to know much about user experience to learn what your users need; you just need to figure out a way to gather the information and digest it. From the very informal to (somewhat) formal, the School of Law commonly uses a handful of methods for our projects. In this presentation, you'll learn a few of those UX methods that you can implement in your own department without too much pain and suffering.

In addition to getting to catch up with the community and socializing a bit at the start, this month we’ll have two show-and-tell presentations highlighting recently launched UT sites.
